# Will my sample expire while in transit?

We utilize UPS Priority 2-day return shipping to avoid sample expiration in transit which provides a fast return path back to our labs, and well within our expiration period.

**When using our kit, you should always ship your sample on the same day as the collection.** We also recommend not collecting your sample over Federal Holiday periods to minimize the risk of any delays.
